Bio
Russian Blue’s A Modern Analogue (Pegasus Theory, January 2026) is slowly seeping itself into the indie culture of the Pacific Northwest, but the seven-piece dance punk group isn’t waiting around before moving on to what’s next. Fully embracing their maximalist urges in a time where most bands are slimming down, their live show features 12 synths, drums, guitar, bass, and even a glockenspiel.
With a KEXP in-studio session, multiple festival appearances, and a bevy of headline shows throughout the PNW, Russian Blue is doing anything but resting on their laurels.
Now firmly into the release cycle for their follow-up LP, The Centrist (due out February 2), Russian Blue is gearing up for an even busier 2027.
